It's hard to imagine that yet another year has passed by but it is true and I have to thank my equine friends and all associated with them for a simply amazing year. Above all I have to thank the whole team at Chatham Park for allowing me the flexibility to do as I do. George Sanna and the grooms at home, Rodney Brazzill my farrier and the long-suffering team of vets at Agnes Banks. Without this team I would not have wonderful Weltsohn up and running as he has recovered from Ross River virus to be the best again. Of course to Weltsohn who is without doubt the reason I am enjoying my riding more than ever. He is a patient teacher and I look forward to every ride.

To Zilco and Amerigo for their continuing sponsorship; there is no question that the Amerigo is the best saddle I have ever ridden in. To every rider I have had the privilege to help over the year and to those who organise clinics and look after me so well. Cheryl Lawrence from Tasmania and all those on the State Squad Committee that encourage me to continue to coach the TAS Dressage Squad. Jane Bruce from Berry, Karen Glendenning from Cowra, Debbie Dixon from Canberra and to all those who have chased me for clinics, it's a real pleasure. To Gina Montgommery, a special friend who is always around when you need a sounding board. Denise Rogan who has had a tough year yet simply gets on and her success this year is inspiring. Of course to Chris and Roz and The Horse Magazine who know how to wind me up, but also know I care. To Bradley for making me realise that life is about living and not to ponder but live and enjoy each day for whatever it brings. And to Brett Hickey for building my wonderful truck.

Merry Christmas to all and good luck, happiness and health for 2012 and to quote from G Sanna: "It's never too late to see a distance!" Take that and put it to work each day as it's never too late for anything!
