Denis Lynch won the CSI5* Prix SFAM at Jumping International de Valence with his Aussie bred 11-year old-gelding, RMF Fairview. He was the only rider to manage a time under sixty seconds, his was of 58.83 seconds.
“It’s my first win with this new horse found in Australia, I’m thrilled about this victory. I started to show him in competition around May, we’re a new combination but he’s really willing to try and there is something very chemical between us. It’s a lovely victory for me and for Rushy Marsh, co-owner of the horse.”
The American Jessica Springsteen once more demonstrated that she knew how to play with speed as she took second place in a time of 60,62 seconds, with Fleur de l’Aube. Roger-Yves Bost completed this podium with his quick Castleforbes Talitha, achieving his course in 60.89 seconds.
Fairview, who started life as Fairview Aliquidam, is by Alimo, a World Cup winner in Australia and out of the Quidam de Revel mare, Tara ni Quidam (she’s out of a King of Diamonds mare). Alimo is by Animo by Almé.
Fairview won at World Cup level in Australia with Stuart Jenkins before the ride went to Lynch
