Verden Auction on April, 12 and 13

On April 12 and 13, the Niedersachenhalle in Verden will be dedicated to four-legged top-class talents and their sires. Highlights of the riding horse collection will be presented at 7 pm on Friday evening. The auction will start at 2 pm on Saturday.

The collection offers a selection of 84 carefully selected riding horses to customers from all over the world. The collection leaves nothing to be desired, from three-year-olds to already successful sport horses in dressage and showjumping, well as licensed stallions. Videos of the collection are available on the Internet at www.verdener-auktion.de. From Tuesday, April 2, the daily training will take place in the Niedersachsenhalle. Trying of the horses is possible at any time, by appointment. The auction of the four-legged talents for all equestrian disciplines will begin on Saturday, April 13, at 2 pm.

The evening before, Friday, 12 April, the Niedersachsenhalle will open its doors for the ‘Verdener Abend’ at 7 pm. Riding horses from the auction collection will feature – often with their sires as well – and show their talents. There will be  performances by other stallions as well, as varied shows inspire and thrill the audience. The Grande Prize will also be awarded in this festive setting. This is awarded annually to the breeder of a stallion who, with his first offspring under the rider, shows the potential of positively influencing the Hanoveraner breed.

Another highlight of the evening is the performance of the public favourite – the competition of the riding clubs at the VER-Dinale 2019: When the riding club Wechhold- Martfeld und Umgebung e.V. performed in January with 90 riders participating, the spectators rose  from their seats in appreciation  of the performance of Pippi Longstocking.

These performances by the German Riding clubs are amazing, and really worth seeing!

In the afternoon before the performance, guests are invited to visit the show horses and stallions in Stables I and II at the auction hall, and to look forward to the evening performance.
