At the 2004 World Championships for 5-year old horses Hans Peter won the World title with Florencio. He won his second World title at the 2005 World Championships for 6-year old horses with Florencio.

He was a member of the Silver medal winning Dutch team at the Beijing Games, and the Gold medal winning team at the WEG in Kentucky. He won bronze at the Europeans in Rotterdam and silver in Herning.
