Hannah first sat on a horse at 4 months old, at two, despite the protests of her doctors,  her mother Phyllis decided to teach her to ride properly. Joining Pony Club at age 4, Hannah competed against her able bodied friends in all disciplines before focusing on dressage at 9 doing Young Riders and Pony classes before being classified in Para-equestrian at the minimum age of 12.  She continued to  compete in Young Rider classes up to PSG/CDI-Y level while working on her dream of representing Australia at a Paralympic Games. in 2012 this dream came true with Hannah being the youngest member of the Australian Team at the London Paralympics. With her new horse Grand Sam, Hannah was named as the reserve for the WEG 2014 team.

Hannah now splits her time between Equestrian and her new love Wheelchair Basketball, being long listed in both sports for the Rio Paralympics next year. She hopes to take Sam to the Under 25 Grand Prix tour in the near future.

Hannah also enjoys playing Wheelchair Rugby in her spare time and is about to finish her undergrad in Sport and Exercise Science, while working as a public speaker spreading disability awareness
