Born : 1963
Emile grew up in South Africa before moving to Britain in 1978 where he spent three years as a student, graduating to riding the proprietor, Molly Sivewright’s advanced horses. He then went to Ulli and Bianca Kassellman’s PSI barn in Hagen preparing the auction horses. When he returned to the UK, he was offered the ride on Virtu, the horse that took him to the 1992 Games and the 1993 European championships where he rode in the silver medal winning British team and took home an individual bronze. He rode Rascher Hopes at the Sydney Games and was travelling reserve for Athens. He has also ridden at three WEGs.
