1979-1980 apprenticeship as Bereiter first at the State Centre for Eventing in Ansbach, then from 1980-1981 at the Riding School in Warendorf. Honoured with Stensbeck award
1981-1986 Studied veterinary medicine at the LMU Munich
1998 Takes over the veterinary practice of Dr. Josef Hauk in Warendorf, starts lecturing at the German Riding School in Warendorf, creates new concept of the veterinary subject for the Bereiter and Instructor education – “The anatomy of the riding horse”
1999 Becomes an international speaker and consultant
