Competed in four Olympic Games – Los Angeles (with Farmer), Seoul (Waltzerkönig), Barcelona (Prestige), Atlanta (Joli Coeur) – winning team gold at Seoul and Atlanta. He was individual winner, and a member of the gold team at the 1994 WEG in The Hague and third individually, again in a gold team, at the Rome WEG in 1998. He retired from competition in 2012, to train riders, and play gold.
