Successful British eventer, Clissy competed as a Junior on By George, the jhorse that took her to her first Burghley in 1972 and her first Badminton in 1973. Merry Sovereign competed in 19 three day events, six consecutive Badmintons (1976 – 81), two European Championships (taking home silver and gold team medals), one World Championship (sixth individually) and four Lumühlens.

Clarrisa competed in the 1986 World championships at Gawler on Delphy Dazzle, for nineth individually.
